True Motives Sports (TMS) is created to be the virtual assistant coach to help ease the load of a coaches’ day to day. Owned and operated by a former Head Coach and Associate Head Coach, Michelle Smith, who understands what it takes to operate a successful sports program. TMS would provide services that would help coaches and their team prepare throughout the season and to help athletes get to the next level in their athletic career.
OWNER'S BIO
Michelle Smith is a former Head Coach and Associate Head Coach at two successful Girls’ Basketball Programs. She started her coaching career in 2015 at Sports Leadership and Management Charter School Miami, located in Miami Florida. She held this position for 5 years before transitioning to Associate Head Coach at Doral Academy in Doral, Florida. During her time at Sports Leadership and Management Charter School Miami, she amassed a record of 82-39, winning three consecutive District and Regional Championships and State Final Four appearances in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She started at Doral in 2020. During her time at Doral, she was tasked with completing scouting reports for the team and won 2 District Championships in 2021 and 2023. During her time as a coach, she was able to help 8 student athletes achieve their dream of playing at the next level. With her experience in the specialty, she would like to take her talents to helping more student athletes and programs.
